The latest Training day for Interpreters working with Global Languages, held in Jury’s hotel was a great success! There was a huge turnout and everyone learnt something useful from this session.

The following topics were covered:

• Code of Ethics
• Confidentiality, Impartiality and Respect
• Cultural Awareness
• Professionalism
• Identification Badges
• Garda Clearance
• Attendance sheets
• Code of conduct

This was followed by a Questions and Comments section at which many very important issues arose. Interpreters will be informed of the next training session by phone or email.
